UF’s Department of Anesthesiology provides residents and fellows with several opportunities for clinical experience in the developing world. Our faculty and housestaff help to build patient care capacity in these underserved communities, and gain a new perspective on the practice of medicine and their roles as physicians.
UF Lifebox Project – We send about six faculty members and 10 residents ever year to Honduras to participate in this project that seeks to enhance country-wide patient safety.
